The Discovery Telescope

Now, what; The Discovery Channel Telescope. This telescope took ten years to construct and now as one of largest telescopes (78 feet tall & weighing ~6 tons)and one of the most technologically advanced telescopes, it sets its sights on studying anything from beyond Neptune in the solar system.

The Lowell Observatory is located near Flagstaff, Arizona in Coconino National Forest and has several partnered universities such as Boston University, University of Maryland, as well the University of Toledo. Because it is so technologically advanced, it is easier to navigate from one part of solar system to another and is a break thru in science education and learning about the universe.
